LASIK, PRK, SMILE Pro and ICL are not interchangeable. The right choice depends on prescription, tomography, thickness, ocular surface, pupil size, age, lens status, lifestyle and visual expectations.
LASIK options
Includes Contoura Vision and WaveLight Plus (InnovEyes).
PRK, SMILE Pro and ICL
PRK is a surface option where a flap is not suitable. SMILE Pro is a small-incision lenticule procedure. ICL / phakic IOL surgery is used for selected higher refractive errors.
